About us

MediaTraining.BE is a communication and training agency, specialised in media training (key messaging and interviewing and debating training), presentation techniques and personal coaching, as well as crisis communication and press relations in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The agency was founded by Evert van Wijk. He previously worked at a communications management level for aeroplane manufacturer Fokker and American chemical multinational Dow Chemical. As an external communications consultant he has trained and advised a wide variety of (international) clients in Belgium and the Netherlands over the past 15 years.

In addition to serving corporate clients, MediaTraining.BE is also active in the government sector and the political world. Many ministers and other leading politicians received coaching in interviewing and debating techniques, as well as in personal presentation. The agency also assists politicians in the preparation of parliamentary inquiries.

Most of our co-workers ( our Friends) are experts in the communications field and trendsetting media (Dutch, English, German and French speaking) and usually work for us on a franchise basis. They are selected not only for their professional knowledge, but also for their understanding of what moves our clients.
